How to change the Netduma R1 SSID using DumaOS

Your SSID (Set Service Identifier), commonly referred to as your ‘Network Name’, is used to differentiate your network from any others in your area. By default, this will be set to ‘Netduma R1’.

To change this, first navigate to Network Settings before clicking on the WiFi tab. This will open the WiFi settings seen below:

Next, simply type a memorable name into the ‘Network Name’ field. You may select the ‘Don’t Broadcast Network Name’ option below to prevent others from being able to see your network name.

Finally, click ‘Save Wireless’ to save your changes.
